Yusuf Buhari Secures APC Ticket for 2027 Reps Election

Yusuf Buhari, the son of former President Muhammadu Buhari, has been awarded an automatic ticket by the All Progressives Congress (APC) to contest for the House of Representatives seat representing the Daura, Sandamu, and Mai Adua federal constituency in the 2027 general elections. This decision was made during a meeting held on April 28, where party stakeholders from Katsina State adopted him as the consensus candidate.

Ahm Dangiwa, the chairman of the consensus committee for the Daura zone, announced this decision. In response to the development, Mannir Musa, the APC chairman for Mai Adua local government, urged party members to accept the outcome in good faith and work together for party unity and progress.

Governor Dikko Radda was also called upon to support the aspirant. Yusuf Buhari expressed gratitude to the party members for their confidence in him and promised to deliver effective representation if elected.
