Brymo Claims Burna Boy Bought Grammy Award in Interview

In a recent interview, Nigerian musician Brymo alleged that Burna Boy bought his Grammy award, stating that he was offered a chance to purchase the award for $10,000. Brymo expressed that Burna Boy's name appearing in his song does not hold significance and reiterated that he does not consider Burna Boy's status relevant.

The feud between the two artists escalated in 2023 when Brymo accused Burna Boy of plagiarizing songs from his unreleased project. Brymo also claimed that Burna Boy sent thugs to harm him and accused other Afrobeat stars, including Davido and 2Baba, of harboring animosity towards Burna Boy.

In November 2023, Burna Boy performed a freestyle referencing Brymo, further intensifying their conflict. Brymo's remarks reflect his ongoing grievances with Burna Boy, emphasizing that he does not care about the Grammy award and believes Burna Boy's hustle is not genuine.
