SkyB Criticizes Burna Boy for Lack of Support

SkyB, a veteran Nigerian singer, has publicly criticized Burna Boy for not providing assistance despite SkyB's previous efforts to support him and other artists from Port Harcourt. In a recent episode of the Kaa Truth podcast, SkyB claimed that he had paved the way for Burna Boy and others, including Mr. 2Kay and Timaya, who have also contributed significantly to the Port Harcourt music scene.

SkyB expressed frustration that, after Burna Boy's rise to fame, he did not remember the support he received from local artists. He mentioned that he had attempted to collaborate with Burna Boy and sought financial assistance to rejuvenate his career but was met with rejection.

SkyB also noted that he had previously helped other artists, including providing a governor's contact for performance opportunities, which were declined. He lamented that Burna Boy, who has achieved Grammy success, has not reciprocated the support from his roots in Port Harcourt.
