Kano Police Praise Dawakin Kudu Residents for Election Conduct

The Kano State Police Command commended the residents of Dawakin Kudu Local Government Area for their peaceful conduct during the Dawakin Kudu State Constituency by-election held on Saturday. This commendation was issued in a statement by the command’s Public Relations Officer, CSP Abdullahi Haruna.

Commissioner of Police, Ibrahim Adamu Bakori, monitored the by-election across various polling units in the area. The statement highlighted that Bakori, accompanied by the Resident Electoral Commissioner for INEC Kano State, Amb.

Zango Abdu, and other members of the Inter-Agency Consultative Committee on Election Security, assessed the deployment of security personnel, the conduct of INEC officials, and voter compliance with electoral guidelines. The report indicated that the electoral process was proceeding smoothly, with voters participating in an orderly manner and security operatives maintaining neutrality and professionalism at all polling locations.
