By-elections: ADC, LP dead in Anambra – Soludo mocks Obi

Anambra State Governor Chukwuma Soludo mocked former presidential candidate Peter Obi after the by-election results in the state declared the African Democratic Congress (ADC) and Labour Party dead. Soludo made the comments during a celebration event in Nanka following his party, the Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), victory.

He emphasized that the results showed the demise of the ADC and Labour Party in Anambra, despite Obi's support for the ADC candidate. Soludo highlighted that the people overwhelmingly supported APGA, with a 75% majority.

The opposition coalition, which included the ADC, aimed to challenge President Bola Tinubu in the 2023 election. This outcome signifies a significant shift in political dynamics in Anambra State.
