Bye-election: Kaduna PDP raises alarm over alleged abduction of Reps candidate, 25 others

The Kaduna State Chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has raised concerns over the alleged abduction of their Reps candidate and 25 others ahead of a bye-election. The party accused the Nigerian Security forces, at the behest of Governor Uba Sani, of a shocking display of desperation by laying siege to a hotel and attempting to whisk away the Chairman of the PDP Campaign Council and the abducted candidate.

The PDP condemned this act of harassment and intimidation, demanding the immediate and unconditional release of those held hostage. The party called on various authorities, including the Inspector General of Police and the President, to intervene and put an end to the abuse of power.
