Nigeria Rejoins CAF Grade A Coaching Convention After 9 Years

The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has officially readmitted Nigeria into the Grade A Coaching Convention, a significant milestone after a nine-year absence. Jaida Zakaria, who is involved in the CAF coaching education project management, issued an approval letter to the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF).

This approval follows previous attempts by the NFF to gain access to CAF's coaching courses. Dr.

Terri Babatunde Eguaoj, the head of education at the NFF, expressed his excitement about this development, describing it as a "huge deal" for Nigerian football. The NFF is now expected to put logistical arrangements in place to commence the coaching program, which is anticipated to enhance the quality of coaching in the country.
