Ajilo Campaign Condemns Protests Against APC Candidate

The Ajilo Campaign Organisation issued a statement condemning protests against the emergence of Dr. Michael Akintomid Ajilo as the All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate for the Ondo East/West Federal Constituency.

The protests followed the release of the candidate list by the National Working Committee (NWC) of the APC. The campaign organization highlighted that the recent APC House of Representatives primary elections reflected overwhelming support for Ajilo among party members.

They expressed regret over the actions of Hon. Abiola Makind, who they claimed acted against party principles and undermined party unity.

The organization urged the APC leadership in Ondo State to monitor developments closely and consider appropriate disciplinary measures against Makind for his alleged anti-party activities. The statement emphasized the need to safeguard the interests of the party and maintain its cohesion.
