APC Candidate Urges Unity Among Members Ahead of Elections

Mr. Michael Akintomid, the APC House of Representatives candidate for Ondo East and Ondo West Federal Constituencies, called on aggrieved party members to refrain from protests against the candidate list and instead work towards the party's success in the upcoming general elections.

He expressed concerns that protests could negatively impact the party's chances of winning. Akintomid addressed journalists in Ondo, stating that misunderstandings should be resolved amicably and that the party's supremacy should be respected.

He urged members to trust the APC and its candidates, emphasizing the need for unity. Mr.

Abiola Makind had previously protested against the exclusion of lawmakers' names from the candidate list. Additionally, Jimi Odimayo, another APC candidate, encouraged party members to rally behind the candidates produced during the primaries, praising President Bola Tinubu and Dr.

Olubunmi Tunji Ojo for their roles in the primary process.
