Fayose Criticizes Supreme Court Delay on ADC, PDP Judgments

Ayodele Fayose, the former governor of Ekiti State, has publicly criticized the Supreme Court for its delay in delivering judgments concerning the leadership crises affecting the African Democratic Congress (ADC) and the People's Democratic Party (PDP). The Supreme Court, which concluded hearings on April 22, has yet to announce a ruling date, leading to growing anxiety among aspirants from both parties for the 2027 elections.

The five-member panel, led by Justice Moham Garba, has reserved judgment on the matter, which is crucial as the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) approaches its deadline for party membership registration submissions. In a post on his Facebook page, Fayose questioned the motivations behind the delay and emphasized that Nigerians cannot proceed to elect a presidential candidate under such circumstances.
