CANAL+ to Broadcast WAFCON Morocco 2026 Live on SuperSport

CANAL+ has confirmed that the CAF Women’s Africa Cup of Nations Morocco 2026 (WAFCON) will be broadcast live on SuperSport across Sub-Saharan Africa from July 26 to August 16, 2026. The tournament will take place in five venues located in Rabat and Casablanca, featuring a total of 34 matches.

Coverage will be available on DStv, DStv Stream, GOtv, and GOtv Stream, with specific access for Nigerian viewers through MultiChoice on DStv and GOtv. This edition of WAFCON is notable for being the largest in the tournament's history, expanding from 12 to 16 teams as determined by the Confédération Africaine de Football (CAF).

Additionally, it will serve as a qualifying event for the 2027 FIFA Women’s World Cup in Brazil, with the four semi-finalists qualifying automatically and two more teams advancing to an intercontinental playoff. David Mignot, CEO of CANAL+ Africa and MultiChoice Group, expressed excitement about broadcasting this significant event, marking their third major football tournament since merging with MultiChoice.
