JAMB Warns Candidates: Lead City Law Admissions Not Valid

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) issued a statement on Thursday, signed by Dr. Fabian Benjamin, advising candidates that admissions to the Law Faculty at Lead City University in Ibadan are not recognized.

This follows a five-year suspension of the university's law program, during which no admissions were conducted through the Central Admissions Process (CAP). JAMB emphasized that any admissions outside of the CAP are void and not authorized, warning candidates against accepting such offers.

The board reiterated that it will not recognize or condone admissions made outside the approved CAP, and candidates are urged to pursue legitimate admissions through the appropriate channels. JAMB also highlighted that attempts to transfer to other universities without valid initial admission will not be endorsed, underscoring the importance of adhering to the established admissions process.
