Ugochinyere Urges Political Solution for Kanu's Release

Ugochinyere, a caucus leader, has appealed for a political solution concerning the release of Nnamdi Kanu during an interactive session with constituents at the National Assembly complex. He emphasized that Kanu's release is crucial for consolidating ongoing efforts to restore peace and stability in the South East region.

Ugochinyere urged President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to seek a political resolution to the issue, asserting that political parties strongly believe that consolidating the current peace process will be expedited by Kanu's release. He further called on the President to exercise his constitutional powers, including the option to discontinue Kanu's case and grant him a pardon, allowing Kanu to return home.

Ugochinyere acknowledged President Tinubu's recent decisions aimed at ending the prolonged crisis and expressed optimism that the President would consider this appeal in the interest of national unity and lasting peace.
