At the CBN Senior Tennis Championship, top seed Abua Cannice progressed to the quarter-finals by defeating the 11th seed Sani Musa with a score of 2-1 (6-4, 6-3). In other matches, second seed Adeley Daniel triumphed over Ogunjobi Onyekachi with a score of 6-4, 6-1 to advance to the round of 16.
