Peter Black Nominated for Leadership Excellence Award

Peter Black, also known as Peter Dunia, the CEO of P&G Records, has been nominated for the Man of the Year award at the eighth Leadership Excellence Awards, scheduled for November. This recognition is due to his significant contributions to youth empowerment and skill acquisition in music, talent management, sports, and social advocacy.

Despite his preference for privacy, his impactful humanitarian work has garnered attention. The Igbere TV Leadership Excellence Awards honor leaders and innovators in Nigeria and Africa.

Born on September 19, 1972, in Lagos, Nigeria, to Grace Dunia and the late John Agunu Dunia, Peter Black has made notable investments in the creative industry, supporting local recording spaces and emerging musicians. He has also sponsored the Warri Wolves football club and developed community sports complexes.

As Chairman of the Oceanwave Group of Companies, his work has earned him recognition for its lasting impact, particularly in the Niger Delta region.
