Chairman of Hunters Killed in Kwara Checkpoint Attack

Mohan N'Dajeba, the chairman of hunters in Gbugbu, Kwara State, was killed during an attack on a checkpoint by a military vigilant group in Nigeria. The incident occurred along the Gbugbu-Garin Daji road.

Security sources reported that the attack prompted a joint search operation involving army troops, police, and local vigilante groups. The search team later discovered N'Dajeba's body in a nearby bush at approximately 6:30 PM.

His remains were subsequently released to his family for burial in accordance with Islamic rites. Authorities are currently investigating the incident to determine the circumstances surrounding the attack and to bring the perpetrators to justice.
