Edo Governor Urges Youths to Join Nigerian Army Recruitment

Governor Mondai Okpebholo of Edo State has called on qualified young men and women to seize the opportunity presented by the Nigerian Army's 91st regular recruitment intake. This appeal was made in a statement released on Tuesday in Benin by the governor's chief press secretary, Dr.

Patrick Ebojel. The recruitment process will be supported by a Nigerian Army sensitization team visiting Edo State from April 8 to April 14, aimed at guiding and assisting prospective applicants.

Governor Okpebholo highlighted that this exercise provides a pathway to meaningful employment and personal development through national service. He urged Edo youths to participate actively to boost the state's recruitment numbers to meet national quotas.

The governor also called on parents, guardians, traditional rulers, community leaders, and religious institutions to mobilize eligible candidates and ensure they complete the necessary documentation. The Edo State government remains committed to creating opportunities for youth and supporting the success of this recruitment exercise.
