Edo State Urges Youths to Join Nigerian Army Recruitment

The Edo State government, through a statement signed by Patrick Ebojel, Chief Press Secretary to Governor Monday Okpebholo, has urged eligible youths across the state to participate in the ongoing Nigerian Army 91 Regular Recruitment Intake. This recruitment exercise is scheduled to take place from April 8 to April 14, 2026.

The governor emphasized the importance of improving the state's participation to meet national quotas and presented the opportunity as a chance for young Edo people to build a disciplined and purposeful career. The government is appealing to parents, guardians, traditional rulers, community leaders, and religious institutions to mobilize and encourage eligible candidates within their communities.

The statement also advised candidates to visit the official Nigerian Army recruitment portal for detailed eligibility requirements and application procedures. The Edo State government remains committed to creating opportunities for youth and calls for collective support to ensure the success of this recruitment exercise.
