Charges Dropped Against Teen Pilot Detained in Antarctica

American pilot and influencer Ethan Guo had charges dropped against him after being detained in Antarctica for allegedly landing his Cessna 182Q aircraft without authorization on King George Island. The teen aviator was attempting a solo flight across seven continents to raise funds for childhood cancer research.

Despite facing accusations of submitting a false flight plan, a Chilean judge dismissed the charges on Monday but imposed strict conditions on Guo, including leaving Antarctic territory, making a donation to a child cancer foundation, and being banned from Chile for three years.
