Obidient Connect Launches for 2027 Election Strategy

Charles Odibo introduced Obidient Connect, the organizational backbone of the Obidient Coalition Movement for the 2027 elections. This platform is designed to map Obidient supporters to their polling units, create local volunteer structures, engage the diaspora for funding, and protect votes through citizen-driven actions.

Odibo emphasized that elections are won at the 176,864 polling units across Nigeria, and the lack of grassroots structure in 2023 hindered their efforts. Obidient Connect aims to build networks that can mobilize voters and ensure real-time transmission of polling unit results on election day.

He highlighted critical national issues, including the human development crisis, with over 130 million Nigerians living in multidimensional poverty, and the need for a shift from consumption to production. Odibo stated that insecurity is both a symptom and a driver of underdevelopment, necessitating leadership that addresses the root causes through jobs and education.
