Andreas Christensen Extends Barcelona Contract to 2028

FC Barcelona has officially announced that Danish center-back Andreas Christensen has signed a contract extension that will keep him at the club until June 30, 2028. The 30-year-old defender, who joined Barcelona from Chelsea, has agreed to a significant pay cut as part of the deal.

Christensen's previous contract was set to expire at the end of June. Despite facing frequent injury setbacks during his time at Camp Nou, he played a crucial role in Barcelona's La Liga triumph during his debut season with the club in 2022.

Since joining, Christensen has made 98 appearances for Barcelona, contributing to their success in winning three La Liga titles and the Copa del Rey among other trophies.
