CIO, C-Suite Awards Expand to 15 African Countries

The CIO, C-Suite Awards have announced their seventh edition, expanding recognition of technology executives across 15 African countries. This initiative was launched in response to the COVID-19 crisis, aiming to highlight the contributions of senior business leaders in sustaining organizational economies during global disruptions.

The awards reflect the growing depth of leadership within Africa's technology ecosystem, recognizing executives from various sectors, including fintech, e-commerce, healthtech, and agritech. Notable figures such as Abiola Laseinde, Shoyinka Shodunk (CIO of MTN), Moham Besheer (CEO of Open Access Data Center), Ayotund Coker (Chairman of Cham Holdco PLC), and Ademola Aladekomo are among those acknowledged.

Nominations for the awards opened on May 1 and will close on June 30 via the organizing digital platform, aiming to strengthen recognition of African leadership in the technology sector.
