Trendupp Awards Opens Nominations for Sixth Edition

The Trendupp Awards, established by Trendupp Africa, is returning for its sixth edition, with nominations now open across 18 categories. Founded in 2021, the awards have evolved into a significant pan-African movement that recognizes and honors influential content creators who have made a substantial impact in the digital space.

Tiwalola Olanubi, the founder and CEO of Trendupp Africa, stated that the awards have become a household name, celebrating the audacity of content creators across the continent. The nominations will be open from March 2025 to March 2026, allowing influencers to nominate themselves or be nominated by fans.

New categories have been introduced to reflect the diverse landscape of content creation, including TikTok, lifestyle content, creative arts, Instagram, and YouTube, among others. The awards have seen immense growth, with 487,000 nominations across 17 categories and recognition of 486 nominees so far.
