Enugu Governor Tasks MDAs on N870bn IGR Target Amid Global Tensions

Enugu State Governor, Dr. Peter Mbah, has urged various Ministries, Departments, and Agencies (MDAs) in the state to work towards achieving a target of N870 billion Internally Generated Revenue (IGR) due to global tensions affecting external revenue sources.

The governor emphasized the importance of meeting this revenue target to ensure the state can withstand economic shocks. Mbah highlighted the breakdown of the 2026 budget, with expectations of N387 billion from IGR, N329 billion from FAAC allocations, and N154 billion from capital receipts.

Stakeholders were urged to redouble efforts in revenue generation and service delivery to support the state's economic resilience.
