CSGG Calls for Probe into El-Rufai's Administration

The Citizens Support for Good Governance (CSGG) has renewed its call for a comprehensive, independent, and transparent investigation into various issues linked to the administration of former Kaduna State governor Mallam Nasir Ahmad El-Rufai, covering the period from 2015 to 2023. This call was made in a statement issued in Kaduna on Thursday, signed by Dr. Adeosun Olumide Olayinka (National Coordinator), Hon. Hamis Danbaba Malumfashi (National Secretary), and Hon. Victor Mathew Bobai (Director of Media and Public Communications).

CSGG emphasized the need for a thorough inquiry into allegations of killings, insecurity, human rights violations, and financial controversies. The organization stressed that the investigation should not be seen as an attempt to convict anyone but rather to establish the truth and deliver justice.

They highlighted the importance of examining major violent incidents in Kaduna State, particularly in Southern Kaduna, and reviewing the December 2015 Zaria crisis involving the Nigerian Army and the Islamic Movement in Nigeria (IMN).
