Iyun Predicts Tinubu vs. Obi in 2027 Presidential Race

Pastor Peterside Iyun has prophesied that the 2027 presidential election in Nigeria will primarily be a contest between President Bola Tinubu and former Vice President Peter Obi. Iyun shared this prediction on his social media, stating it was something he "sensed in his spirit." While acknowledging Obi's political significance, Iyun indicated that the Labour Party's 2023 presidential candidate is not currently positioned to secure victory.

Obi, who resigned from the African Democratic Congress (ADC) on May 2, 2026, and was ratified as the Labour Party's presidential candidate on May 29, 2026, remains a notable figure in the upcoming election. Iyun compared Obi's journey to the biblical figures Moses and Joshua, suggesting that while Obi's ambition is commendable, the timing for his success is not right.

He asserted that the election's outcome will depend on the candidates' genuine intentions for Nigeria, stating that the one who truly seeks the country's good will emerge victorious.
