Amadi Predicts Obi's Victory Over Tinubu, Atiku in 2027

Sam Amadi, the Director of Abuja School of Social and Political Thoughts, expressed confidence that Peter Obi, the presidential candidate for the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC), will defeat President Bola Tinubu and Atiku Abubakar in the 2027 general elections. In an interview on Symfoni TV, Amadi analyzed the electoral landscape, suggesting that it does not favor Tinubu and Atiku.

He noted that Tinubu entered the 2023 election with a reputation for having improved Lagos State, despite a limited campaign. Amadi highlighted the significant support Obi received from Nigerian youths and referenced the 2023 election, claiming that if it had been conducted fairly, Obi would have emerged as the President.

He pointed out that Obi had garnered nearly half of the electorate's support and had indications of winning in states like Rivers and Plateau, although the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) did not declare him the winner.
