Illegal Clinic Owners Arrested Over Pregnant Woman's Death in Ondo State

The Ondo State Police Command arrested Kehinde Olawuyi and his wife Eniola Olawuyi after a 28-year-old pregnant woman, identified as Iyanu, died at their illegal medical clinic in Odigbo Local Government Area. The couple allegedly mishandled medical procedures during the woman's delivery, causing her to lose a significant amount of blood and ultimately leading to her death.

Despite efforts by medical personnel, the victim passed away. The suspects were not registered medical practitioners, and their clinic was operating illegally.

The police have initiated an investigation into the matter and plan to press charges in court upon concluding their inquiries.
