Unicloud Africa Partners with OADC for Sovereign Cloud

Unicloud Africa has entered into a partnership with OADC to host enterprise-grade sovereign cloud infrastructure within OADC's carrier-neutral facilities located in Nigeria, the Democratic Republic of Congo, and South Africa. This collaboration aims to strengthen the fintech and enterprise sectors by establishing a robust localized foundation for governance and enterprise modernization, ensuring absolute data residency and regulatory compliance.

The partnership aligns with Unicloud Africa's strategy to eliminate high latency and compliance risks associated with offshore cloud providers by utilizing OADC's Tier III certified infrastructure. Dr.

Krish Ranganath, CEO of Unicloud Africa, emphasized that the partnership will empower clients with low latency access and local currency billing while ensuring that African data remains on African soil. Dr.

Ayotunde Coker, CEO of OADC, highlighted the critical role of fully localized cloud infrastructure in driving economic growth and innovation in Africa's digital future. The partnership will also support the deployment of Unicloud's GPU services, enabling local organizations to harness AI and machine learning capabilities.
