Collaboration Key to Combating Terrorism in Nigeria

Major General Saidu Audu, during his visit to the headquarters of the Multi-National Joint Task Force (MNJTF) in N'Djamena, stressed that collaboration is crucial for decimating terrorist groups and restoring freedom of action across the Lake Chad region. The visit aimed to strengthen cooperation among MNJTF member nations and enhance operational success against insurgents.

Major General Audu received a comprehensive operational briefing and engaged in discussions with senior officers of Operation Hadin Kai (OPHK) in Maiduguri, Borno State. He noted that sustained collaboration remains an effective pathway to decisively eliminate terrorist elements and restrict their freedom of movement.

Major General Abdulsalam Abubakar, also present, described the visit as strategically significant for enhancing operational effectiveness and reaffirmed OPHK's commitment to supporting socio-economic activities within the Lake Chad region.
