MNJTF Commander Advocates Collaboration Against Terrorism

Major General Saidu Audu, the Force Commander of the Multinational Joint Task Force (MNJTF), stated that collaboration is crucial for effectively decimating terrorist groups in the Lake Chad region. During his visit to the MNJTF headquarters, he received comprehensive operational briefs and engaged in discussions with senior officers from Operation Hadin Kai (OPHK).

The visit aimed to generate fresh ideas to deepen collaboration between MNJTF and OPHK, enhancing operational success against terrorism. Major General Audu noted that sustained collaboration is vital for restricting terrorist movements and restoring peace.

He commended the MNJTF for its unique multinational alliance and the significant operational successes achieved against insurgents. Major General Abdulsalam Abubakar, also present, reaffirmed OPHK's commitment to supporting MNJTF in combating terrorism and improving socio-economic activities in the Lake Chad region.
