Australia Dominates 2026 Commonwealth Games Medal Table

At the ongoing 2026 Commonwealth Games in Glasgow, Australia has established a significant lead in the medal standings, accumulating a total of 128 medals, which includes 55 gold, 30 silver, and 43 bronze. England follows in second place with 80 medals (17 gold, 34 silver, and 29 bronze), while Canada is in third with the same number of gold medals but fewer overall medals.

Host nation Scotland is fourth with 34 medals (10 gold, 8 silver, and 16 bronze). Nigeria, representing Africa, is in fifth place with a total of 18 medals, comprised of nine gold, six silver, and three bronze, making it the highest-ranked African nation.

The Games, which commenced on July 23, have seen participation from 74 Commonwealth Games Associations and will conclude on August 2. The disparity in medal counts highlights Australia's dominance, with its gold medals accounting for nearly one-third of all golds awarded so far.
