Gunmen Abduct Woman in Ondo State, Sparking Community Protests

Gunmen abducted Tomiola Oladehind in Ondo State, leading to community protests against the rising insecurity. Eyewitnesses reported the abduction and subsequent shooting of neighbors who tried to intervene.

The incident prompted residents to barricade roads, demanding Governor's attention for enhanced security. The State Police Public Relations Officer, Abayomi Jimoh, confirmed the incident and stated that preliminary information indicated six armed men were involved.
