Gunmen Kidnap Woman in Ondo State, Sparking Protests by Residents

In Ondo State, residents of the Abo community protested after unknown gunmen kidnapped a woman named Tomiola Oladehind. The gunmen stormed the area, shot at the victim's vehicle, and abducted her.

Three neighbors were injured during the attack and rushed to a nearby hospital for treatment. The incident sparked outrage among residents, leading to protests demanding better security measures.

Reverend Johnson Adajah highlighted the security breaches in the area, urging the governor and security agencies to address the escalating insecurity. Abayomi Jimoh, the Ondo State Police Public Relations Officer, confirmed the incident and revealed that six armed men ambushed the victim's residence, leading to the kidnapping and injuries.

Adebowale Lawal, the State Commissioner of Police, visited the scene to assess the situation and reassure residents of enhanced security efforts.
