Alobo-Bakare Launches HABRide to Transform Lagos Transport

Otunba Hakeem Alobo-Bakare, a prominent figure in Nigeria's construction industry, is set to launch HABRide in November 2026, marking his entry into Lagos' competitive e-hailing market. This venture aims to revolutionize urban mobility by integrating technology, convenience, safety, and economic benefits for both passengers and drivers.

HABRide will offer unique features such as conventional app bookings, WhatsApp requests, and a one-tap ride option. The service will prioritize safety with a technology-driven architecture that includes driver KYC verification, real-time ride tracking, and an emergency panic button to alert contacts and emergency services.

Beyond passenger transportation, HABRide plans to include cars, dispatch motorcycles, and pickup vans, positioning itself in ride-hailing, courier, and logistics services. Additionally, its digital wallet feature will allow Nigerians in the diaspora to fund rides for relatives in Nigeria.
