Pastor Chris Okafor Urges National Assembly to Regulate Internet Amid Cyberbullying Concerns

Pastor Chris Okafor, the founder of Mountain of Liberation Miracle Ministries, held a press conference in Lagos, Nigeria, advocating for the regulation of the internet by the National Assembly. Okafor expressed concern over cyberbullying and defamation, particularly targeting innocent citizens.

He emphasized the need for laws to punish offenders and deter others. Additionally, Okafor addressed allegations made by Nollywood actress Dori Ogala against him, describing them as baseless and part of a media trial orchestrated by bloggers and influencers.

Okafor highlighted the damaging impact of online attacks on individuals' reputations and called for the establishment of a cyber police unit to trace and apprehend offenders. The pastor also shared personal challenges, including accusations of infidelity and violence from his ex-wife, which he refuted as false.

Okafor's plea for internet regulation aims to safeguard individuals from unwarranted attacks and ensure accountability in online spaces.
