PDP Urges INEC and Security Agencies to Ensure Peaceful 2025 Convention Amid Fears

The People's Democratic Party (PDP) has called on INEC, security agencies, and the judiciary to ensure a peaceful and credible 2025 national convention. The PDP expressed concerns over fears of disruption by elements within and outside the party, particularly the APC.

The party expressed confidence in the new INEC chairman, Prof. Joash Amupitan, and vowed to monitor the commission's actions closely.

The PDP's convention is scheduled to hold on November 15-16 in Ibadan, Oyo State, amidst fears of possible interference and sabotage.
