Cooking Gas Prices Drop in Nigeria Over Three Weeks

Over the past three weeks, the price of Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG), commonly referred to as cooking gas, has continued to decline in various parts of Nigeria. A market survey indicated that the price per kilogram has fallen to N1,300 in Abuja, down from N1,450, depending on the specific location.

Notably, Ranoil, Shafa, and AP Ardova filling stations in Abuja are currently dispensing LPG at prices of N1,350, N1,300, and N1,400 per kilogram, respectively, which is a decrease from previous prices ranging between N1,450 and N1,500 per kilogram. Additionally, depot owners are now selling LPG for prices between N997 and N1,030 per kilogram, a reduction from as high as N1,100 per kilogram.

This trend reflects a significant decline in cooking gas prices across the region.
