NCC Workshop Promotes Ethics and Professionalism for Staff

The Nigerian Copyright Commission (NCC) held a workshop on ethics and professionalism in Nasarawa State, aimed at improving service delivery among its staff. Director General Dr.

John Asein described staff development as a key priority for the commission. He noted that the workshop provided an important platform for learning and professional growth.

Mr. Etet Umoudo, representing the Director of Finance and Accounts, explained that the training aligns with the federal government's directive for public servants to continuously enhance their skills.

Asein emphasized that the workshop was not merely a routine exercise but a strategic investment in human capital development, highlighting that ethical values are fundamental to effective public service. He challenged participants to focus on improving individual performance rather than attributing shortcomings solely to leadership.

The workshop aimed to foster stronger relationships among staff and enhance service delivery through practical knowledge application. Mr.
