COREN and CORBON Strengthen Collaboration for Safety

On Thursday, during a courtesy visit at the COREN Headquarters in Abuja, Engr. Prof.

Sadiq Zubair Abubakar, FNSE, FAEng, the President of the Council for the Regulation of Engineering in Nigeria (COREN), reaffirmed the Council's commitment to strengthening collaboration with the Council of Registered Builders of Nigeria (CORBON) and other regulatory bodies in the built environment. He emphasized the importance of inter-professional collaboration to enhance public safety and promote sustainable national development.

Bldr. Samson Ameh Opaluwah, Chairman of CORBON, congratulated Abubakar on the successful hosting of the 34th COREN Engineering Assembly and noted the strengthened partnership through an existing Memorandum of Understanding (MoU).

Opaluwah expressed confidence that the incoming Eighth Council would build on the achievements of its predecessor by deepening collaboration with COREN and other stakeholders in the built environment.
