Court Bars Lizzy Anjorin from Posting Child's Photos

On September 2, 2026, Justice Yetunde Adesanya of the High Court of Lagos State granted an ex-parte order restraining Nollywood actress Elizabeth Lawal, popularly known as Lizzy Anjorin, from publishing or circulating photographs of Master Rakeem Mkambala, the one-year-old son of actress Priscilla Ojo and Tanzanian singer Juma Jux. LD/ADR/6646/2026, was filed by Priscilla Ojo (referred to as Mrs. Priscilla Ajoke Ojo Mkambala), her husband Juma Mussa Mkambala, and their son against Anjorin. The court's order prohibits Anjorin, her agents, representatives, or any person acting under her authority from posting the child's pictures on social media platforms, including Instagram, Facebook, WhatsApp, and TikTok.

The order also restricts Anjorin from broadcasting or publishing editorials concerning the applicants. This interim measure was granted without Anjorin's presence and will remain in effect pending further proceedings.

The case file has been directed to be reassigned to the appropriate division of the High Court.
