Court Restrains NUPENG and Truck Drivers from Disrupting Dangote Refinery Operations

The National Industrial Court in Abuja has granted an interim injunction restraining NUPENG and the Truck Drivers Association from disrupting operations at the Dangote Refinery. The court order prevents the unions from embarking on industrial action or blocking roads that could hinder the refinery's activities.

The ruling also compels the truck drivers to continue their services to the refinery and MRS Oil Nigeria Plc. The court emphasized the potential irreparable damage to the refinery's operations if the injunction was not granted.

The legal action was taken to safeguard the refinery's functioning and prevent any disruptions that could impact the oil and gas sector.
