Court Halts NUPENG from Disrupting Dangote Refinery Operations

The National Industrial Court in Abuja has issued an interim injunction preventing the Nigeria Union Petroleum and Natural Gas Workers (NUPENG) from disrupting operations at the Dangote Refinery. The court restrained NUPENG and its affiliate from compelling truck drivers to join a planned strike, as it could cause irreparable damage to the refinery.

The injunction also prohibits NUPENG members from blocking roads and frustrating the refinery's operations. This ruling aims to maintain the smooth functioning of the Dangote Refinery and prevent any industrial action that could harm its operations or cause disruptions in the oil and gas sector.
