Court Ruling Resolves ADC Leadership Dispute, Says Kachikwu

Dumebi Kachikwu, the former presidential candidate of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), held a press conference in Abuja on Wednesday to address the recent court ruling that has effectively ended a leadership tussle within the party. Kachikwu described the ruling as a vindication, confirming that attempts to hijack the party's structure were illegitimate.

He emphasized that the court's decision clearly stated that the ADC is not for sale and that any efforts to coordinate a political takeover must be lawful. Kachikwu warned party members to stay alert, indicating that the internal political struggle is not yet over.

He reaffirmed the ADC's commitment to participating in future elections and stressed the need for a political reset in Nigeria to address issues of insecurity, poverty, and division. Kachikwu expressed confidence in the judiciary's role in resolving disputes and criticized the broader political environment in Nigeria.
