Court to Rule on Witness Eligibility in Emefiele Corruption Case

The Abuja High Court is set to decide on the eligibility of a witness, Alvan Grumman, to testify against former CBN Governor Godwin Emefiele in a corruption case. Emefiele faces charges related to contract awards and financial impropriety.

The prosecution seeks to present Grumman as the 11th witness, sparking objections from Emefiele's defense. The case involves allegations of criminal breach of trust, corruption, forgery, and obtaining money under false pretenses.

Emefiele has pleaded not guilty to the charges.
