CP Jimoh Launches "The Art of Policing Lagos"

At a press conference held at 1 PM on Wednesday, CP Jimoh unveiled his book titled "The Art of Policing Lagos," which encapsulates his two-decade relationship with policing in Lagos. His first encounter with the police was as a public relations officer in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), later advancing to a significant role in public relations within the police force.

The book, co-authored with PRNigeria fellows Adebisi O Adam and Shukurat T Ibrahim, emerges at a critical juncture in Nigeria's security discourse, advocating for a shift towards intelligence-led operations and proactive stakeholder engagement. CP Jimoh's approach reflects a modern policing philosophy that prioritizes community awareness and ethical accountability.

The book spans 203 pages and is a product of the 2025 PRNigeria Young Community Fellowship, aimed at nurturing a new generation of community professionals. The event highlighted the importance of evidence-based documentation in policing, particularly in urban security dynamics.
