Nafisat Balogun Becomes First Female Pilot in NCS

Nafisat Balogun has achieved a historic milestone by becoming the first female pilot in the Nigeria Customs Service (NCS) to obtain a US commercial pilot license. This accomplishment was disclosed by Abdullahi Maiwada, the spokesperson for the NCS, during a ceremony held at the Customs Technical Hangar Service in Abuja.

Balogun's journey is noted for its resilience, discipline, and determination, serving as an inspiration within a field traditionally dominated by men. Captain Kuhi Mbaya, the Managing Director of the Customs Technical Hangar Service, praised Balogun's achievement as a source of pride for the service and emphasized the importance of breaking barriers for women in aviation.
