Cutix PLC Launches Innovative Fire-Resistant Cable

Cutix PLC, headquartered in Nnewi, Anambra State, has unveiled a new fire-resistant cable designed to enhance safety in the Nigerian cable market, valued at N200 billion annually. The product features halogen-free flame retardant (HFFR) insulation technology, which is engineered to prevent fire outbreaks in homes and offices.

Unlike traditional cables that can be flammable, Cutix's HFFR insulation starves active flames of fuel, extinguishing them naturally within seconds and preventing the spread of fire beyond 250 millimeters. Uch Igbokw, the Chief Executive Officer of Cutix PLC, emphasized the company's commitment to reshaping the local cable manufacturing landscape and maintaining global manufacturing standards.
