INEC Reports Over 4.4M Online Registrations for CVR; Physical Registration Ongoing

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) reports that 4.44 million Nigerians have registered online for the Continuous Voter Registration (CVR), with 509,929 completing physical registration nationwide. The online registration commenced on August 18, with a total of four weeks since its start.

INEC disclosed that the majority of registrants are aged between 18-34, with a significant number being students. The registration details, including state, gender, age, occupation, and disability status, are available on the INEC website for public access.

The physical registration option will take place in the next two weeks at designated locations.
