Enugu Government Urges Eligible Residents to Register for Voter's Cards in Ongoing Exercise

Enugu State Government urges eligible residents to register for voter's cards in the ongoing Continuous Voter Registration (CVR) exercise by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC). Enugu's Commissioner for Information and Communication, Malachy Agbo, emphasized the importance of participation in the exercise, highlighting that it offers a vital opportunity for citizens to shape the future of the state and the nation.

Agbo noted that the exercise accommodates both new registrants and those seeking to correct errors or replace lost or damaged Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs). He emphasized that obtaining a PVC empowers citizens to actively contribute to the democratic process.

The commissioner urged traditional rulers, community leaders, and religious institutions to encourage active participation in the registration process.
